Hi! I’m Lauren.
Brand Strategist. Visual Storyteller. (Lactose Intolerant) Queso Enthusiast.
For as long as I can remember, I have had an unyielding ambition to constantly be creating.
I’ve known I wanted to be an artist since I was five years old and my mom let me “display collages” on my bedroom door made of masking tape. As I grew up, my passions grew with me and I moved into medias such as painting and ceramics. In high school, I received an award for taking every single art class offered, some of them even twice. This is where I found my passion for graphic design. Although it was a basic Photoshop class, I knew I had to explore further.
I attended Iowa State University and entered the rigorous graphic design program. Each year, I found ways to push the envelope in and out of the classroom. When I was asked to create a uniformed set of icons, I created a laser etched farm-themed puzzle to display them. When choosing clubs, I chose organizations that allowed me to paint 15 foot banners for Homecoming celebrations. I learned the strategic art of prioritization, and made a 25th hour in the day to get it all done.
These days, I still search for new ways to solve challenges and drive the narrative in a forward motion for my clients. When given a project, I focus on the tasks asked of me and ask “how can we give the client what they don’t yet know they want, on top of what they do want?”
I’m always open to new growth opportunities, drop a line below!
